Course Curriculum
This webinar will discuss recent federal audits that will impact healthcare providers operations.  We will review areas of focus for compliance programs and the top considerations for healthcare providers to address in 2018. We will focus upon recent federal cases and the OIG Work Plan updates.  This webinar will also discuss the federal regulations that will drive change in the healthcare industry in 2018.

At the conclusion of this session, the participants will be able to: 

1. Identify the federal audits that will impact operations of healthcare providers.
2. Discuss focus areas of compliance programs healthcare providers should address for 2018 
3. Examine some of the federal regulations that will drive change in the healthcare industry. 
 
Faculty
Michele Madison, partner with Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, provides general legal advice to health systems in various regulatory and business matters. She is highly experienced in managing legal issues arising in hospitals, physicians offices or integrated health systems including employment, investigations, risk management assessment and corporation management, and provides legal education for health systems’ medical staff, management teams and employees in these areas.
